The live release that reflects the new acid-jazz vibe of the band. Recorded October 1999 at Mohawk Place, Buffalo, NY. Overdubs and multitrack mixing conducted at Audio Magic, January of 2000.
This is our latest release...The quartet that performed the music on this particular recording rehearsed twice before this, their first gig together, took place. It's fresh, exciting, and continually searching, therefore we released it to keep the band alive in the public eye until the next studio release. It also showcases The Waz as a live unit, reacting and interacting in an improvised setting. This recording offers different takes on two songs from Meledic-Hypnotic, two jazz standards, and one funk classic.
